UAE – Mubasher: Nasdaq Dubai has been closed on Monday, 2 March, in line with the current regional developments, according to an official statement.
The temporary closure of Nasdaq Dubai will remain until Tuesday, 3 March 2026, based on the resolution by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), the independent banking, financial services, and markets regulator of Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
Nasdaq Dubai is the international financial exchange based in the DIFC, providing a platform for regional and global investors to trade equities, derivatives, Sukuk, and conventional bonds.
The DFSA stated it continues to closely monitor developments in the region, and remains in regular contact with local authorities and relevant advisories.
Earlier, the UAE Capital Market Authority decided to halt trading across the country’s financial markets, ADX and DFM, for the same reason. This followed Boursa Kuwait’s decision which came as a precautionary measure for market safety.
